Multi Layer Mini Cakes

The recipe for these mini cakes is from the food section of The Washington Post, 23 April 2008. They are more labor intensive than the 9-inch cakes but are so cute, much more fun to eat and to serve, .
2 x 2 inch 6 layer mini cakes with chocolate ganache filling and covered with chocolate glaze
